In Hall 3, a rugged industrial backdrop combines with the sensibility of a refined concert hall. As with its big sister, Hall 1, here too special attention was paid to the acoustics. Stage reflectors, absorption surfaces and acoustic panels above the stage and spectator area optimize the sound effect.
The hall has stands with up to 1,500 seats in rows, a mobile stage and a mobile fly system. On 2,700 square metres, concerts from classical to pop, shows and trade fairs, and even general meetings can be held here.
The popular show production “URBANATIX” has used Hall 3 of the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum as its “home base” almost every year since 2009.
In combination with the other halls, larger trade fairs are also possible – no limits are put on your creativity. This hall also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of technology.
