North meadow

Up to 15,000 visitors can be accommodated on the 13,500 sqm open-air area which nestles in the landscape next to the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum and as the northern part of the Westpark.

Against the backdrop of the historic buildings, the north meadow provides a unique atmosphere for open-air events - by day or by night. Public viewings, concerts or fireworks, the rectangular, flat area is perfect for events on a grand scale. Visitors find themselves in the midst of the action or climb up a park level to view the spectacle from above.
